Description

Plastruct Styrene Sheets Range

Useful clear and white sheets of styrene, butyrate and acrylic in a range of thicknesses, perfect for model building.
Butyrate is tougher and less prone to split or shatter than Acrylic or Styrene, and is resistant to stress whitening.
Acrylic is better for rigid applications.
Styrene is ideal where thinness is important.
All glue well to themselves, or to most other plastics - we recommend EMA plastic weld solvent cement.
Coloured sheets also available.

A wide variety of hobby and craft uses including scratch building, model railway or war gaming projects. Ideal for museum quality and smaller scale model construction where assembly speed, profile accuracy and cost are the determining factors.

Description

PLASTRUCT scratch building products cover every part of any high-quality large or smaller scale model construction project.
Unlike wood and brass, PLASTRUCT traditional structural shapes require no priming or sealing to enhance its hard finish. Plastic can be sawn, blade cut, drilled, lathe-turned, carved, sanded and filled.
Most standard woodworking tools can be used on plastic and it will not splinter. Plastic parts join in seconds with small amounts of liquid solvent cement such as PLASTRUCT plastic weld.

Delivery and Shipping

We use Royal Mail 48 as our default courier, however sometimes due to size and weight constraints we reserve the right to use
an alternative courier.

We aim to ship orders within 3 working days or less.

We offer free shipping on orders over £25. On orders with a value below £25, we charge a shipping at £2.95.

We ship to England & Wales nationwide, we can also ship to the Channel Islands, Highlands & Northern Ireland. However we cannot guarantee this on some larger and/or heavier shipments.

Currently we don't offer a default international shipping service, but please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to obtain a reasonable quote to ship internationally.
